Cars

Cars can be found in the city just laying about, abandoned in the streets by their former owners. They are some of the fastest transportation in the game, and are particularly useful in the apocalypse.

How to Use a Car and Gas Station:

• Right click the car to enter.
• Hold X to start the car.
• Use WASD to drive.
• Drive to a gas station and park in the designated spot next to the pump.
• Right click the pump and fill up the car.

Car Tips:

• You can shift + right click to view the status and cargo of the car. While in the car, you can press ‘ key to view the same menu. (Left of the right enter)
• Don’t drive into water. The car will take damage.
• Don’t drive off drops, this will damage the car.
• Try to get the car into the metro system, it spans everywhere and it the best mode of transport. An easy way to do this is to drop the car down a metro station inside the city. The car will take damage but not enough that it will be unusable.
• Use canisters to keep your car fueled in the metro system. Canisters can be found in the mechanical workshop. Car Repair Kits and Car Workshops can also be found here.
